Supermoon

Some of you may have had the chance to see it. Just this last Saturday, came whats known as a "supermoon". For those that don't know, these are full moons closely coinciding with perigee - the point at which the moons orbit is closest to earth.

2014 will have a total of five supermoons! Yes, you read that right - I am just as excited as you are! There are the two new moons of January, and the full moons of July, August and September. With these moons come around, they bring real physical effects on the earth like an increase in tidal changes. This is all fine and dandy, but what I love about the are the views!

Check it out, search Google! GORGEOUS pictures! But, these pictures come with their difficulties getting! Low-light photography is a difficult aspect to master, as there are many elements that can effect the outcome of your picture. In my opinion, these supermoons also produce the best options for photographers to manipulate to get amazing photos like these.

Not only are these images more difficult to get from a technical aspect, but generally requqire better gear - specifically glass!
